Goal 1:
We worked with synonyms throughout the year within the Computer Applications classes. Students used the tools within the various Microsoft Office programs. This can be a very helpful tool as students prepare documents for school and personal use. The students also learned to use various websites on the Internet to help them with synonyms mainly (www.thesaurus.com).
Goal 2:
Math skills are used throughout the comptuer world. Using Microsoft Excel we learned many math formulas and functions that we can use to figure loan payments and basic math skills also. We worked with various tables and charts through the year also.
